Capoeira training, like any other martial art, is not a course which can be completed in a set time span. Any martial arts journey is meant to be a part of your life. Some people will train for a summer. Some people will train their entire lives, become teachers, then train their own students, who will hopefully rise through the ranks to become teachers.
Capoeira involves kicks and escapes along with dynamic acrobatic movements. As you progress through Capoeira you will also be expected to learn to play music and to sing in Brazilian Portugese. The martial arts aspect of Capoeira will help you develop personal fitness to be able to achieve the movements and have the reflexes to use the escapes to avoid getting hit. Your body will also be conditioned to perform explosive aerials and flexible enough to bend and twist your body in order to move through a game of capoeira following the rhythm of music being played by an orchestra.
